Take the funicular or walk up to the medieval castle perched above the old town. Enjoy panoramic views of the city, the Julian Alps, and on clear days, all the way to the Kamnik Alps. The castle houses a museum, a viewing tower, and a chapel with frescoes.

Triple Bridge & Old Town

Stroll across the iconic Tromostovje (Triple Bridge) designed by Jože Plečnik and explore the pedestrianised old town along the Ljubljanica river. Browse the artisan stalls on the riverbanks and stop for a coffee with a view.

Tivoli Park

Ljubljana's largest and most beautiful park stretches from the city centre into the forested hills. Walk the Jakopič Promenade, visit the botanical garden, or jog the shaded trails. Hotel Lev sits right at the park's entrance.

We took the funicular up to the castle at sunset and could see all the way to the Julian Alps. Unforgettable.
